We will arrive at a finished drawing of a cartoon horse by working on one part at a time. It will take 9 steps to complete as we continue to draw each area moving closer to the completed work of art. Outline The Head
Outline the curved shape of the horse’s head.

Add The Eyes
Draw two shaded ovals to add the horse’s eyes.

Form The Snout
Now, create a line curving downwards on the middle of the horse’s head. Add two dots for its nostrils. Then, create a line curving upwards for its mouth.

Add The Ears
Draw two triangular-like shapes on top of the horse’s head as shown to add its ears.

Outline The Body
Outline the elongated shape of the horse’s body.

Draw The Mane
Draw the long wavy shape of the horse’s mane.

Attach The Legs
Draw the thin long shape of the horse’s legs attached to the bottom of its body.

Add The Tail
Now, add the long flowy shape of the horse’s tail on its body.

Complete The Drawing Of A Cartoon Horse
Let’s finish our drawing of a cartoon horse by adding some color! First, use a light pink crayon to color the snout. Next, use a black crayon to shade the hooves. Now, use a yellow crayon to color the mane and tail. Use a dark brown crayon to color the inner ears. Finally, use a brown crayon to fill in the rest of the horse’s body.
