Cartoon Santa Face

This lesson will teach you how to draw a cartoon Santa face. We will draw attention to the shapes of each part and variety of lines drawn so that the artwork looks convincing.

Time Needed: 30 minutes

1. Draw The Eyes And Eyebrows

   

   Draw two oval shapes to form the eyebrows. Next, outline two U-shapes facing downwards to form Santa’s happy eyes!

2. Form The Nose

   

   Form the nose by drawing a line curving downwards.

3. Add The Mustache

   

   Attach two elongated shapes to Santa’s nose to create the mustache.

4. Draw The Mouth

   

   Add a mouth by drawing an oval shape between the mustache.

5. Outline The Hat’s Base

   

   Outline the base of the hat by drawing a bumpy shape.

6. Form The Hat’s Body

   

   Draw a rounded triangular shape to form the body of the hat.

7. Attach The Tip Of The Hat

   

   Create a small bumpy rounded shape attached to the tip of the hat as shown.

8. Add The Beard

   

   Add Santa’s cloud-like beard by drawing a bumpy shape attached to the bottom of his face.

9. Complete The Cartoon Drawing Of Santa’s Face

   

   Let’s add some color to our illustration! First, use a red crayon to color the body of Santa’s hat. Then, use a black crayon to shade his smiling eyes. Then, use a cream colored crayon to fill in the beard and eyebrows. Next, use a peach crayon to color Santa’s face. Finally, use a white crayon to fill in the rest of Santa’s hat.
