Materials
- Pencil
- Drawing Paper
- Crayons or Colored Pencils
- Black Marker (optional)

By the end of this lesson we will arrive at a finished drawing of christmas candle by completing one area at a time. It will take 6 steps in total as we continue to create each part which will get us closer to the completed artwork. The finished work of art will be finished off with color making it a work of art you will be proud of!
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Draw The Flame
Begin by drawing a teardrop shape on the upper part of your paper. This will be the candle’s flame.

Add Melted Wax
Draw the upper part of the candle so that it looks a wee bit melted.

Draw The Candle
Add two vertical lines for the rest of the candle.

Add The Decorative Berries
Draw three small circles on the lower part of the candle. This becomes the decorative berries of the mistletoe or holly.

Complete The Drawing
Draw the holly or mistletoe leaves.

Color Your Candle
Grab your colored pencils or crayons and begin coloring your Christmas candle. I have used mostly yellow, green and red for this holiday drawing!
