This post will instruct you how to draw a Christmas elf. We will pay attention to the shapes of each part and variety of lines created making sure that the drawing looks right.

Draw The Face
Let’s start by drawing two circles for the eyes. Next, add a small U-shaped line for the nose. Then, draw a line curving upwards to form the elf’s smile.

Form The Head
Now, outline the V-shaped head. Then, attach the pointed ears on both sides of the head.

Add The Elf Hat
First, draw two lines curving downwards to form the base of the hat. Then, outline the pointed shape of the top part of the elf’s hat.

Draw The Hair
Draw the elf’s hair by making a bumpy line below the hat.

Add The Collar
Next, draw a zigzag shape to form the collar. Then, add a small curved line below the head.

Form The Torso
Start by making an outline of the torso as shown. Next, add two circular buttons. Then, form a square-shaped buckle with curving horizontal lines connected on both sides to draw the belt.

Attach The Arms
Now, draw the shape of the elf’s arms attached to its body. Add a striped pattern by drawing three curved lines at the end of both arms. Then, outline the hands similar to the illustration.

Add The Legs
First, draw two rectangles below the torso to form the elf’s legs. Next, outline the elf’s pointed shoes and add a circle at the pointed tip.

Complete The Christmas Elf Drawing
Let’s add some color to our drawing of the Christmas elf! First, use a black crayon to shade the eyes and belt strap. Next, color the elf’s hair, the buttons and buckle on its clothes and the bell at the end of its shoes with a yellow crayon. Now, use a red crayon to shade the base of the elf’s hat and its pants. Use red and white crayons to fill in the striped pattern on the elf’s sleeves. Next, use a white crayon to shade the collar. Then, use a green crayon to color the top part of its hat, clothes, and shoes. Finally, use a peach crayon to color the elf’s head, neck and hands.
