Christmas Teddy Bear Drawing

This step by step lesson will teach you how to draw a Christmas teddy bear. We will pay attention to the shapes of each part and types of outlines drawn making sure that the artwork looks great.

Time Needed: 30 minutes

1. Draw The Santa Hat

   

   First, outline the fluffy base of the santa hat by drawing a bumpy shape. Next, form the body of the hat attached to the base.

2. Outline The Head

   

   Start forming the teddy bear’s head by drawing a big oval. Attach the ears by adding a small curved line on both sides of its head.

3. Form The Face

   

   First, draw two ovals for the eyes. Next, add a big oval outline for the snout. Now, draw a triangular shape for the nose. Then, form two curved lines for the mouth.

4. Attach The Pompom

   

   Attach the pompom of the santa hat by drawing a small bumpy rounded shape.

5. Draw A Scarf

   

   Now, let’s draw a scarf attached to the bottom of the bear’s head. Attach the excess fabric of the scarf by drawing two wavy rectangles as shown.

6. Add The Arms

   

   Add long U-shaped lines to draw the bear’s arms.

7. Form The Legs

   

   Form the shape of the bear’s legs touching the bottom of its arms similar to the illustration.

8. Draw The Belly

   

   Draw the bear’s belly by creating a curved line.

9. Complete The Christmas Teddy Bear Drawing

   

   Let’s complete our drawing of a Christmas teddy bear by adding some color! First, use a white crayon to shade the base and the pompom of the santa hat. Next, use a red crayon to color the body of the hat. Now, use a green crayon to shade the scarf. Then, fill the eyes with black crayon and add white oval shimmer. Use a dark brown crayon to color the nose. After that, shade the snout with a light brown crayon. Finally, color the rest of the teddy bear with a brown crayon.
