Christmas Truck Drawing

In this basic drawing tutorial, we will learn how to create a Christmas truck drawing on paper. To look the best, we will observe the different sizes and shapes of each part of the Christmas truck. The lines in each illustration is drawn blue so you can see the current lines that you should be working on.

Time Needed: 30 minutes

1. Outline The Body

   

   Let’s start by making an outline of the Christmas truck.

2. Add The Fenders

   

   Now, draw two curved shapes facing downwards to add fenders on the left side of the truck. Then, create a curved line to draw the visible fender on the right side.

3. Attach The Bumper And Skirt

   

   First, draw two horizontal lines connecting the two fenders to add the skirt. Next, form a rectangle shape attached to the front of the truck to create a bumper.

4. Draw The Windshield And Door

   

   First, create a rectangular shape to add the windshield. Next, form the door by outlining a rectangle with a rounded top. Now, add a square-like window on the door. Don’t forget to add a door handle by drawing a small rectangle.

5. Form The Grill

   

   Draw an arc shape at the front of the truck. Then, add horizontal lines within the arc shape to complete the grill.

6. Add The Headlights

   

   Add the headlights by drawing two oval shapes on the front fenders.

7. Attach The Wheels

   

   Draw the circular shape of the wheels attached to the truck. Don’t forget to add a small circle within the wheels to add a wheel cover.

8. Draw The Tree

   

   Now, let’s outline the spiky shape of the pine tree at the back of the Christmas truck similar to the illustration.

9. Complete The Drawing Of A Christmas Truck

   

   Let’s complete our Christmas truck drawing! Let’s use a white crayon to color the headlights. Next, let’s use a light gray crayon to shade the outer grill, bumper, and wheel covers. Use a darker shade of gray for the interior of the grill. Then, use a black crayon for the wheels. Now, shade the windows with a light blue crayon. Next, color the pine tree using a green crayon. Finally, let’s give this festive truck a paint job! Use a red crayon to color the rest of the Christmas truck.
