Time Needed: 30 minutes
First Outline The Roof
Start by drawing the outline of three roofs similar to the illustration.
Form The Walls
Next, draw vertical lines connected to the roof to form the walls of the houses.
Add Doors And Windows
Now, draw U-shaped lines to outline the doors of each house. Then, form the arch-shaped windows.
Start Forming The Lamppost
Let’s start drawing the canopy top of the lamppost by making triangles.
Draw The Globe
Next, draw the oval-shaped globe of the lamppost.
Attach The Post
Now, draw two vertical lines below the globe to attach the post.
Form The Ground
Let’s form the snowy ground of the Christmas village! First, draw wavy horizontal lines to close the bottom of the houses and lampposts. Next, outline the oval-shaped base of the village. Draw the bottom of the base with a wavy line to emphasize the thick snow. Then, draw a long curved line at the bottom of the snowy ground.
Add The Pine Trees
Draw stacks of wavy triangular shapes to draw pine trees in the background. Don’t forget to erase parts of the ground that overlap with the pine trees!
Complete The Christmas Village Drawing
Let’s add some color to our Christmas village drawing! Start by coloring the roofs of the houses and the snowy ground with a white crayon. Next, use light green, pink and light brown to color the walls of the houses. Now, fill in the doors and windows with orange. For the pine trees, use a green crayon and color the tips with white. Then, shade the lampposts with yellow and dark brown crayons. Finally, color the bottom of the base below the snowy ground with a brown crayon.
