Time Needed: 30 minutes
First Draw The Eyes And Nose
First, create two U-shapes facing downwards for the eyes. Next, draw a line curving downwards for the nose. Finally, draw two oval shapes above the eyes to form Santa’s bushy eyebrows.
Add The Mustache
Draw two elongated shapes just below the nose to add a mustache. Don’t forget to add a line curving upwards, attached to the mustache to form a mouth.
Form The Beard
Outline Santa’s beard by drawing a bumpy line around the face. Add a bumpy line above his head to complete the beard.
Draw Santa’s Hat
First, draw an elongated shape above Santa’s head. Then add a triangular shape with a bumpy circle at the end to form the hat.
Outline The Body
Form a triangular shape attached to the head to outline the body. Don’t forget to add a curvy line for detail.
Attach The Belt
First, draw the belt’s buckle by drawing a rectangle. Add another rectangle inside to complete the buckle. Then, draw four lines attached to the buckle to complete the belt.
Add The Arms
Form the curving outline for Santa’s arm. Then, draw oval shapes to create cuffs. Finally, form the shape of mittens to protect Santa’s hands from the cold!
Draw The Legs
Draw two columnar shapes attached to the body. Then, form boots similar to the illustration for Santa to wear.
Complete The Cute Santa Drawing
Let’s complete our illustration by adding color! First, use a black crayon to fill in the belt and eyes. Next, use a cream color to shade the beard and eyebrows of Santa. Then, use a yellow crayon to color the buckle of Santa’s belt. Use a brown crayon to fill in the boots. Now, use a white crayon to fill in parts of Santa’s hat and jacket along with the cuffs. Finally, use a red crayon to shade the rest of his clothing and a darker shade of red for the mittens.
