Cute T-Rex Drawing

The goal is to arrive at a finished drawing of a cute t-rex by completing one part at a time. It will take 6 steps to complete as we continue to create each area which will get us closer to the final work of art. The completed work of art will be finished off with color creating a work of art you will be proud to show off!

Time Needed: 20 minutes

1. Form The Head

   

   Let’s create a cute face for our T-Rex! Form a rounded shape for its head. Draw a small circle for its eye. Then, add two dots for the nostrils. Now, form a line curving upward to give our cute dinosaur a smile! Finally, draw a small V-shaped line to draw the fang.

2. Outline The Body

   

   Outline the cute T-Rex’s body along with its tail by forming a pointy elongated shape.

3. Add The Legs

   

   Add columnar legs to our cute dinosaur.

4. Attach The Arms

   

   Let’s add cute, little arms to our T-Rex’s torso!

5. Outline The Underbelly

   

   Draw a curved line across the body and tail to form the underbelly.

6. Complete The Cute T-Rex Drawing

   

   Let’s add some color to our cute T-Rex drawing. Use a black crayon to fill in the eye. Then, use a white crayon to shade the fang of our little dinosaur! Then, use a yellow crayon to color the underbelly. Finally, shade the rest of our cute T-Rex with an orange crayon!
