In today’s tutorial, we are going to discover to draw Jack Frost on paper. The design and proportion of each part will be observed in each step of the lesson. Take notice that the blue lines are used to indicate the newest elements being drawn in each step.
Time Needed: 30 minutes

Form The Head
First, draw two circles to form the eyes. Next, add a line curving downwards to give Jack Frost a nose. Then, create a crescent shape to give him a big smile! Don’t forget to create a curved line inside his mouth to draw the tongue. Finally, outline the head by drawing a line curving upwards.

Outline The Ears
Form two oval shapes attached to the head to outline the ears.

Draw The Hair
Draw a jagged line above the head to outline his hair.

Add The Hat
First, draw a zigzag shape to form the base of the elf hat. Then, attach a dome-like shape with a circle at the tip to complete the hat.

Form The Body
Start by drawing a zigzag shape to form the collar of Jack’s clothes. Then, outline the shape of his torso with a zigzag line at the bottom. Then, draw the buckle of his belt by creating a circle. Finally, add four horizontal lines attached to the buckle to complete Jack’s belt.

Attach The Arms And Legs
Attach the shape of Jack Frost’s arms on his torso. Next, draw two columnar shapes at the bottom of his body to form the legs.

Outline The Hands
Outline the hands by drawing mittens similar to the illustration.

Draw The Shoes
Draw the pointed shape of Jack’s shoes. Then, add a small circle at the tip of the shoe.

Complete The Drawing Of Jack Frost
Let’s give life to our Jack Frost illustration. First, use a brown crayon to color the boots. Next, use a yellow crayon to fill in the tip of the shoes, the buckle, and the tip of his hat. Then, use a blue-green shade to color his hair. Use a cream color crayon for his skin. Now, use a black crayon to fill in his eyes and the inner part of his mouth. Don’t forget to color the tongue with a red crayon. Finally use shades of green and dark green to color the rest of Jack’s clothes.
