This tutorial will teach you how to draw a Christmas elf. We will pay attention to the shapes of each part and variety of contours drawn making sure that the artwork looks correct.

Form The Head
Start by drawing the slightly pointed U-shaped outline of the elf’s head. Next, attach the pointed ears on both sides of its head. Now, draw two circles to form the eyes. Add a small curved line for the nose and crescent shape for its smiling mouth.

Add The Elf Hat
Now, draw a curving rectangular shape to form the base of the elf’s hat. Next, draw the top part of the hat using a triangular-like shape. Then, add a small circle at the tip of the hat.

Outline The Hair
Outline the shape of its hair below the hat as shown.

Draw The Collar
Draw the elf’s collar by making a circular zigzag shape.

Form The Torso
Next, form the U-shaped torso below the collar.

Add The Belt
First, draw two curving horizontal lines to outline the belt. Then, add the buckle by drawing four vertical lines.

Now, let’s complete our easy drawing of a Christmas elf by adding some color! First, use a black crayon to fill in the eyes. Next, use a white crayon to shade its teeth. Now, use a peach crayon to color the head and hands of the elf. Then, use a yellow crayon to fill in the hair and buckle. After that, use a red crayon to color the elf’s collar, belt strap, and shoes, as well as the base and circular tip of its hat. Finally, use a green crayon to color the rest of the elf’s clothing.
