  1. Draw the Style

    First, draw an upright outline of the hibiscus’ style.

  2. Form the Stigma

    At the top of the style, draw clusters of small ovals to create the stigma.

  3. Add the Filaments

    Add short filaments branching from the style. Make sure to erase any overlapping lines.

  4. Draw the Anthers

    Draw small oval-shaped anthers on top of each filament.

  5. Outline the Petals

    Around the base of the style, form large wavy outlines of the hibiscus’ petals.

  6. Add Petal Texture

    Draw curved lines along each petal to add some texture.

  7. Draw the Leaves

    Add jagged leaves around the petals of the hibiscus. Then, outline the midrib along the center of each leaf.

  8. Form the Veins

    Draw veins extending from the midribs toward the edges of the leaves.
