Halloween Cauldron Drawing

In this lesson, we will start with a new piece of paper and learn how to draw a Halloween cauldron drawing in no time. It makes sense to pay attention to the shape and size of each part of the Halloween cauldron.

1. Form The Mouth Of The Cauldron

   

   First, draw an oval shape to form the lip of the cauldron. Next, create the mouth or the opening of the cauldron by making a line curving upwards.

2. Draw The Body Of The Cauldron

   

   Now, draw the shape of the cauldron’s body by creating a rounded shape attached to the lip of the cauldron.

3. Attach The Handles Of The Cauldron

   

   Attach the cauldron’s handles by drawing D-shaped lines on both sides of the cauldron.

4. Draw The Legs Of The Cauldron

   

   Draw short cylindrical shapes at the bottom of the cauldron to form its legs.

5. Add Liquid Brew

   

   Add the Halloween witch’s brew by drawing a wavy line in the pot.

6. Form Bubbles In The Brew

   

   Form bubbles on the surface of the brew by drawing semi-circles. Then, add curved lines below the drawn semi-circles.

7. Draw Floating Bubbles

   

   Draw floating bubbles by creating circles.

8. Add A Ladle

   

   We need a ladle to mix the contents of our Halloween cauldron. Draw the long vertical shape of the ladle inside the pot similar to the illustration.

9. Complete The Halloween Cauldron Drawing

   

   Let’s complete our Halloween cauldron by first coloring the witch’s brew with a dark green crayon. Next, color the bubbles with a light green crayon. Now, shade the ladle with a brown crayon. Then, start coloring the body of the cauldron with a purple crayon. Shade the handles of the cauldron with a lighter shade of purple. Finally, color the legs of the cauldron with a very dark shade of purple.
