How To Draw A Baboon: All Steps

In this tutorial, we are going to learn how to draw a baboon with your drawing materials. We will consider the different sizes and shapes within the artwork of the baboon. The new lines in each step is drawn out in blue so you can identify the current shapes that you will be working on.

  1. Form The Face

    First, outline the elongated shape of the baboon’s face. Now, draw two circles for its eyes. Next, add two dots and a line curving upwards for its nose and mouth. Then, create two wavy vertical lines on the middle of its face.

  2. Outline The Head

    Outline the fluffy rounded shape of the baboon’s head.

  3. Add The Ears

    Create a curved line on both sides of the baboon’s head to draw its ears.

  4. Form The Body And Tail

    Now, form the furry oval shape of the baboon’s body. Draw a curved line to form its rump. Then, create the wavy shape of its tail.
