We will complete a drawing of a candy cane by crafting one area at a time. The drawing will take 6 steps in total as we continue to make each part which will get us closer to the completed drawing. The finished artwork will be perfected with color creating a drawing you will want to share with friends!

Form The Base
First, form the base of the candy cane by drawing a long rod-shape.

Outline The Hook
Outline the hook part of the candy cane by drawing a curved line connected to the rightmost end of the base.

Draw The Inner Of The Hook
Form the inner side of the hook by drawing a curved line connected to the leftmost end of the base.

Form The Tip
Form the candy cane’s tip by drawing a short curved line.

Add Texture
Add the spiral texture by creating diagonal lines along the candy cane.

Complete The Candy Cane Drawing
Let’s complete our drawing of the candy cane by adding some color! First, use a white crayon to fill in every other spiral on the candy cane. Then, shade the rest of the uncolored spirals using green and red crayons.
