Draw The Head
Start by drawing a curved line to form the head.
Add The Face
Add a small circle to draw the eye. Next, draw a line curving upwards to form a smiling mouth.
Outline The Body
Outline the shape of the dinosaur’s body by drawing an elongated shape.
Attach The Legs
Draw four columnar shapes attached to the bottom of the body to add legs.
Form The Plates
Draw a bumpy shape on the dinosaur’s back to form the plates.
Complete The Cartoon Dinosaur Drawing
Our cartoon dinosaur is a stegosaurus! Let’s breathe life into this illustration by adding color. First, let’s use a black crayon to shade the eye. Next, use a red crayon to fill in the plates on the stegosaurus’ back. Finally, use a blueish green crayon to color the rest of the body!
