In this step by step lesson, we will learn how to draw a cute snowflake with your drawing materials. Be sure to observe the different sizes and shapes contained in the example drawing of the cute snowflake. Draw A Circle
Draw a circle to form the center of the snowflake.

Attach The Horizontal And Vertical Main Branches
Draw the horizontal and vertical main branches attached to the circle. Don’t forget to form a circular shape at the tip of each branch.

Add The Diagonal Main Branches
Add the diagonal main branches connected to the circle. Make sure to form the circular tips of the branches!

Start Forming The Side Branches
Now, draw diagonal rectangles on the horizontal and vertical main branches.

Draw The Side Branches Of The Diagonal Main Branches
Next, form short rectangular shapes attached to the diagonal main branches.

Extend The Center Of The Snowflake
Extend the center of the snowflake by drawing V-shaped lines in between the main branches.

Form The Eyes
Draw two circles to form the eyes.

Draw The Mouth
Outline a curved shape to draw the smiling mouth.

Complete The Cute Snowflake Drawing
Let’s color our cute snowflake drawing! First, fill the eyes with a black crayon. Next, use a white crayon to color the mouth. Now, shade the entire snowflake with a light blue crayon. Then, add darker shades of blue near the edges to create some shadows.
