How To Draw A Daffodil: All Steps

The goal is to arrive at a finished drawing of a daffodil by crafting one section at a time. This project will take 6 steps to complete as we continue to draw each part moving closer to the completed work of art. The finished drawing will be detailed with color resulting in a artwork you will love!

Time Needed: 20 minutes

  1. Begin The Flower

    Near the top of the page, lightly draw a small circle with three petals coming off of it evenly spaced out.

  2. Detail The Middle

    Slightly to the right of where you drew the circle, use a squiggly line to make an oval. Connect this to the circle with straight lines and erase most of the circle. Add some small crease details to the petals as well.

  3. Add More Petals

    Finish up the main part of the flower by adding three more petals.

  4. Draw The Stem

    Draw the long stem of the flower.

  5. Add The Leaves
