Time Needed: 30 minutes
Draw The Deer’s Face
Let’s start by making small oval shapes for the eyes. Next, form a triangular shape for the nose and two small lines curving upward for the mouth.
Form The Shape Of The Deer’s Head
First, outline the shape of the deer’s head then draw a round shape around the deer’s nose and mouth to form its snout. Next, draw two curved lines facing the deer’s eyes.
Add The Ears
Add the ears by forming pointed shapes on both sides of the deer’s head as shown.
Attach The Antlers
Attach the antlers by drawing the thin pointy shapes on top of the deer’s head.
Outline The Body
Outline the body by forming the bumpy shape as shown.
Form The Legs
Form the deer’s legs by drawing four thin shapes attached to the bottom of the body. Don’t forget to draw the deer’s hooves at the very bottom of each leg by making a small horizontal line.
Attach The Tail
Add the deer’s tail by making a pointed shape attached to the body.
Outline The Fur
Outline the fur on the underside of the deer’s body by drawing a curved line. Erase parts of the line that overlap with the leg. Make sure to draw a curved line on the tail as well.
Complete The Deer Drawing
Now, let’s finish the deer drawing by coloring the inner part of the ear, the fur on the underside of the body, and the snout with a light orange crayon. Next, for the nose, use a black crayon with a light shade of white on top to add some shine. Then, use an orange crayon for the antlers and a dark brown crayon for the hooves. Finally, color the rest of the deer with a brown crayon.
