Time Needed: 45 minutes
-
Draw the Tree Stump Top

First, draw an oval-like chopped top of the tree stump. Then, add a spiral line in the center to outline the tree rings.
-
Form the Tree Stump

Next, form the body of the tree stump and extend the base outward to create the roots. Then, add short lines along the stump and roots to create a woody texture.
-
Add the Mushrooms

Attach clusters of mushrooms growing on the tree stump.
-
Draw the Small Rocks

Next, add small jagged rocks scattered on the forest floor.
-
Add the Toadstool Mushrooms

Let’s add toadstool mushrooms by first drawing the mushroom caps. Next, attach the slender stem. Then, outline the spots on the mushroom caps.
-
Form the Fallen Leaves

Next, draw simple fallen leaves on the ground.
-
Draw the Mossy Rocks

Draw larger oval rocks with moss on top.
-
Add the Grass

Draw tall grass growing all around the forest floor.
-
Color the Forest Floor Drawing

First, use blue to color the sky and green for the grass. Next, color the rocks light gray and the moss light green. Now, shade the tree stump using different shades of brown. After that, color the mushroom stems with a cream color, and the mushroom caps orange. Then, color the toadstool mushrooms with red caps, white spots, and yellowish stems. Finally, use shades of yellow for the fallen leaves and brown for the leaf stalks.
