How to Draw a Mountain Goat

In this article, we will start with a blank piece of paper and learn how to draw a mountain goat in no time. It is best to observe the shape and size of each of the drawn parts of the mountain goat.

1. Draw The Face

   

   First, draw two shaded ovals for the eyes. Next, form the snout by making a round shape. Now, create a line curving upwards to form the nose. Then, draw two curved lines attached to the bottom of the nose to form the mouth.

2. Outline The Head

   

   Outline the mountain goat’s head by drawing an oval shape attached to the snout.

3. Add The Horns

   

   Add the mountain goat’s horns by drawing two elongated triangles curving away from the head.

4. Attach The Ears

   

   First, outline the pointed shape of the mountain goat’s ears on both sides of the head. Next, draw a diagonal line to form the inner part of its ear.

5. Draw The Goatee

   

   Draw a bumpy V-shaped line below the head to form the goatee.

6. Outline The Body

   

   Outline the mountain goat’s body by drawing the bumpy shape similar to the illustration.

7. Attach The Tail

   

   Draw the tail by forming the bumpy pointed shape attached to the body.

8. Form The Legs

   

   Add the top part of the mountain goats’s legs by first drawing bumpy shapes below its body. Next, create a rectangle to draw the bottom part of each leg. Then, form the shape of the hooves attached to the bottom of the legs similar to the illustration.

9. Complete The Mountain Goat Drawing

   

   Let’s complete our drawing of a mountain goat. First, use a black crayon to color the hooves and horns. Next, use a gray crayon to fill in the bottom part of its legs, and the inner part of its ears. Then, use a white crayon to color the rest of the mountain goat.
