This tutorial will teach you how to draw a panther. We will pay attention to the shapes of each section and types of lines drawn ensuring that the artwork looks right.
Time Needed: 30 minutes

Outline The Head
First, outline the rounded shape of the panther’s head.

Draw The Eyes And Nose
Now, draw two shaded ovals for the eyes. Then, form a rounded triangular shape for the nose.

Form The Mouth
Draw two rounded shapes attached to the nose. Then, draw a line curving upward.

Attach The Ears
Attach two curved lines on both sides of the panther’s head.

Outline The Body
Outline the elongated shape of the panther’s body.

Form The Legs
Form the shape of the panther’s legs attached to the body as shown. Don’t forget to add the paws at the bottom!

Outline The Underbelly
Outline the panther’s underbelly by drawing a curved line.

Attach The Tail
Attach a thin wavy shape to the panther’s body to draw the tail.

Complete The Panther Drawing
To complete out drawing of a panther, let’s first use a dark gray crayon to shade the mouth, ears and underbelly. Then, fill in the rest of the panther’s body with a black crayon.
