How to Draw a Pig

Materials
- Pencil

In this tutorial, we are going to learn how to draw a pig with your drawing materials. We will consider the different sizes and shapes of each part of the pig. The new lines in each step is drawn blue so you can easily see the most recent shapes that you should be illustrating.
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Outline The Body
Outline the elongated shape of the pig’s body as shown in the illustration. Make sure to emphasize the pig’s nose by drawing the bump on its face.

Create The Face
Draw a circle to form the pig’s eye. Create a curvy line with a small shaded dot to add its nose. Then, form its mouth by drawing a line curving upwards.

Draw The Ears
Draw the pointed shape of the pig’s ears as shown.

Form The Legs
Create the thin shapes of the pig’s legs attached to the bottom of its body. Don’t forget to form the hooves by drawing a line curving downwards and a small vertical line on the bottom of each leg.

Add The Tail
Add the spiral shape of the pig’s tail attached to the body.

Complete The Pig Drawing
Let’s complete the pig drawing by coloring the pig’s nose and inner ear with a dark pink crayon. Use a black crayon to fill in its eye. Next, use a brown crayon to color the hooves. Finally, shade the rest of the pig’s body with a pink crayon.
