- Drawing Paper
- Crayons or Colored Pencils

In today’s tutorial, we will discover how to draw a pumpkin on paper. The design and proportion of each part will be highlighted in each step of the lesson. Take notice that the blue outlines are used to indicate the newest components being drawn in each in each of the steps.

Draw The Outline Of The Pumpkin
Draw a big oval in the middle of your paper.

Add The Stem
Then draw the stem on top of the pumpkin body and add grooves to the pumpkin stem similar to the drawing shown here.

Add Details To The Pumpkin Skin
We can draw the bumpy outer skin of the pumpkin by drawing slightly curved vertical lines.

Draw Tendrils
Since a pumpkin grows from a vine they often have some leftover vines and tendrils near their stem.

Add A Leaf
Add a leaf overlapping the top part of your drawn pumpkin.
