In this article, we will start with a new piece of paper and discover how to draw a snowflake in a series of 6 steps. It’s best if we pay attention to the proportions of each of the drawn parts of the snowflake.

Form The Hexagonal Plate
Start by drawing two hexagons.

Draw The Diagonal Branches
Next, draw the diagonal branches by forming an X-shape. Make sure to erase parts of the hexagon that overlap with the branches.

Add The Horizontal And Vertical Branches
Add the horizontal and vertical branches by drawing a thin cross shape. Erase parts of the hexagon that overlap with the branches!

Create A Circle At The Center
Form a circular shape at the center. Be sure to erase parts of the branches that overlap with the circle.

Attach The Side Branches
Now, draw short diagonal shapes on every branch similar to the illustration.

Complete The Snowflake Drawing
Add some color to the snowflake drawing! First, use a light blue crayon to fill the snowflake. Then, add some shades of blue at the ends.
