The goal is to arrive at a finished drawing of an oreo by crafting one area at a time. This project will take 9 steps to complete as we continue to draw each area moving closer to the finished drawing. The completed artwork will be embellished with color resulting in a artwork you will be proud to show off!

Outline The Wrapper
Outline the Oreo wrapper by drawing a rectangular shape.

Add The Lining And Opening
Add the lining on the wrapper by drawing a line on both ends. Next, draw the opening of the wrapper by creating a curved line outside the wrapper as shown.

Design The Packaging
Let’s design the Oreo packaging. First, write the text “OREO” then draw a squiggly border around the text.

Outline The Oreo
Now, outline an Oreo outside the wrapper by drawing a rounded rectangle with a curved top.

Form The Shape Of The Oreo
Draw three horizontal curved lines to form the shape of the Oreo.

Add The Cookie Border
Now, let’s add the border on top of the Oreo cookie by drawing an oval.

Draw The Oreo Brand
Add the brand on top of the Oreo cookie by writing the text “OREO” and drawing an oval around it.

Create The Texture
Now, create the rough texture on the border of the Oreo cookie by drawing evenly spaced lines as shown.

Complete The Oreo Drawing
To complete the Oreo drawing, let’s color the packaging with a blue crayon. Now, use a white crayon to fill in the background of the Oreo text. Then, color the opening of the wrapper with a purple crayon. Next, color the Oreo cookies with a dark brown crayon and the cream filling with a light brown crayon. Add hints of orange to the Oreo cookie to add some pop of color.
