Time Needed: 20 minutes
-
First Outline The Cabbage
Draw a huge circle near the middle of your paper. This will become the initial shape of the cabbage head.
-
Add Cabbage Leaves
Now we are going to add each layer of the cabbage’s leaves. Draw the first two below the circle.
-
Add Curved Leaf
Then, add a smaller leaf behind the first two. The leaves should be curved and drawn so they look like they are wrapped around the cabbage head.
-
Draw Final Leaves
Next, add more leaves surrounding the backside of the cabbage.
-
Add Wrinkles & Ribs
Add small stem-like lines to each leaf. Cabbage leaves have sturdy ribs near their centers with smaller wrinkles stemming out from each rib.
-
Shade Your Drawing
Cabbage can be grown in a variety of colors. Today I’ll be shading this cabbage with mostly green and yellow-green colors.
