This step by step lesson will teach you how to draw a chocolate milk. We will pay attention to the shapes of each part and types of contours drawn making sure that the artwork looks great.
Time Needed: 20 minutes
Draw A Rectangle
Start drawing the shape of the milk carton by creating a rectangle.
Form The Side
Form the side of the milk carton box by drawing the line as shown.
Create The Carton Top
Create the top part of the milk carton similar to the shape in the illustration.
Add The Top Flap
Draw an inverted U-shaped line as shown to add the top flap of the carton box.
Attach The Cap
Attach the cap to the slanted top of the box by drawing a circle. Then, add some width to the cap by drawing a U-shaped line below the circle.
Create A Pattern
Create a pattern on the box that will look like chocolate milk. To do this, draw wavy lines of random height around the box as shown.
Draw The Cow Head
Let’s draw a cow head on the center of the carton box. First, make a circular shape to outline the head. Then, draw a curved line and two dots as shown to form the snout part. Don’t forget to add the eyes by creating two short curved lines.
Add The Horns And Ears
Add the horns and ears by drawing a sharp pointed line and an elongated curved line like in the illustration on both sides of the head.
Complete The Chocolate Milk Drawing
Let’s finish the chocolate milk illustration by coloring the base of the milk container with a light brown color. Next, use a darker brown color to shade the cap and the chocolate pattern. Color the cow head with a white crayon. Lastly, pick a peach-like or light yellow crayon to shade the snout and horns of the cow.
