In this tutorial, we will start with a blank piece of paper and discover how to draw kale in a series of 6 steps. We will consider the proportions of each part of the kale.
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Draw The Stems
Draw vertical lines until you form the smaller stems near the top.

Add The Leaves
Then, add the first batch of the kale leaves.

Add More Leaves
Draw more leaves in the background. This makes the kale look 3D.

Draw Thinnest Stems
Add thinner stems and veins to the inside of the leaves.

Add A String To The Stem
Add string across the stem so they look bundled together.

Color Your Drawing
Grab your crayons or colored pencils and color your kale drawing.
