How to Draw Landmarks
There are so many wonderful landmarks that can be drawn with the right instruction. Here’s a bunch art lessons for drawing famous landmarks from around the world! Yes, I have included beginner drawing lessons for the Taj Mahal, the Great Pyramids, Paris, NYC and more. Each lesson is simple enough for kids and can serve as a great art component to many historical and cultural lessons where artwork can be included.

Hello, this is sort a a desperate shot in the dark. I’m a long way away from drawing lessons in school. I don’t remember that we had any, that was a long time ato. I’m 71 years old and lately tryinglearn to draw….long story . Perspective is something that tricks me up every time. I don’t visualize instruction with just works, I need pictures. I love your video on 2 point perspective and I can draw one of your houses. But when I try to draw a simple table that I have on my patio, I get lost. It has a shelf the same shape/size as the top near the bottom. But I can’t make the perspective work. Would the top and bottom go to the right and left perspective points just like the top? Would you consider doing a lesson on such a thing. Many thanks, Mary Lou Surgi
Hi Mary Lou,
It’s difficult to answer without seeing your drawing but I believe “yes”, both the top and the bottom would utilize the same two vanishing points.
Please check out my rather in-depth lesson: https://helloartsy.com/2pt-perspective/
Love this drawing it’s my favorite
