In today’s tutorial, we are going to discover how to draw Santa’s sleigh on paper. The shape and proportion of each part will be pointed out in each step of the tutorial. Observe that the blue pencil lines are used to indicate the newest lines being drawn in each step.

Outline The Body Of The Sleigh
Form an elongated shape to outline the body of the sleigh similar to the illustration.

Attach The Front Part Of The Sleigh
Next, draw a rectangular shape to form the front part of the sleigh.

Draw The Opposite Side Of The Sleigh
Now, form the opposite side of the sleigh by drawing a curved line.

Form The Rear Part Of The Sleigh
Draw a diagonal line to form the rear.

Add The Interior
Add lines in the sleigh similar to the illustration to highlight its interior.

Attach The Stanchions
Attach small columnar shapes below the sleigh to form stanchions.

Form The Runners
Draw two long and thin shapes to add runners to the sleigh.

Outline The Sleigh’s Details
Add a line going across the top part of the sleigh as shown.

Complete The Drawing Of Santa’s Sleigh
Let’s complete the illustration by adding some color! First, use a gray crayon to fill in the stanchions and runners. Next, use a yellow crayon to shade the top part of the sleigh. Then, use a brown crayon to color the walls of the sleigh’s wooden interior. Use a dark brown crayon to shade the flooring. Finally, use a red crayon to fill in the rest of Santa’s sleigh!
