In this lesson, we will discover how to draw the Grinch with your drawing materials. Be sure to observe the various sizes and shapes within the artwork of the Grinch. The lines in each step is outlined in blue so you can see the current parts that you will be drawing.

Begin With Grinch’s Head
Start drawing the basic shape of the Grinch’s head. The bottom half of this shape is similar to a heart shape.

Add Details In The Face
Then, draw the eyes, nose, and mouth. Follow my example as best as you can.

Draw The Hat
Add the Grinch’s Christmas Hat on the top of his head.

Add The Neck
Next, let’s draw two parallel lines below its head. This gives the Grinch his skinny neck.

Draw The Collar
Add the cloud-shaped collar underneath the neck.

Complete Your Drawing
Now, grab your crayons or colored pencils and color your grumpy Grinch! Be prepared to use plenty of green colors!
