How to Draw Tiger Tank
In this lesson, you will learn how you can draw a tiger tank, a famous military vehicle from World War II. The process will take about thirty minutes, and you will focus on outlining and shading key parts of this tank, including its hull, turret, and cannon. You will start by creating clear outlines of these features, which will help you understand their shapes and sizes. After that, you’ll add some shading for depth. Remember, you can choose any colors you like for finishing touches!
Materials

This will make it easier for you as you go along. Are you excited and ready for some fun with this drawing?
Time Needed: 45 minutes
-
Outline the Hull

First, draw a long rectangular hull. Then, attach an upright stowage box at the rear of the hull.
-
Form the Turret

Next, draw the turret above the hull. On top of the turret, add a stack of thin rectangles to form the cupola. Then, attach a rectangular armor plate at the rear of the turret.
-
Draw the Cannon

Attach a long cannon to the front of the turret. Then, form the muzzle at the tip of the cannon.
-
Create the Outer Road Wheels

Draw evenly spaced ring-shaped outer road wheels. Make sure to leave enough space for the inner road wheels.
-
Add the Inner Road Wheels

Now, draw the inner road wheels in the gaps between the outer wheels.
-
Outline the Tracks

Next, outline the tracks around the interleaved wheels.
-
Draw the Grousers

Add evenly spaced grousers along the tracks for extra grip.
-
Outline the Glacis Plate

At the front of the hull, draw a sloped outline to form the glacis plate.
-
Color the Tiger Tank Drawing

First, color the tracks black. Now, use shades of gray for the wheels. Color the glacis plate and the base of the hull dark green. Lastly, use camouflage colors like green and brown for the rest of the Tiger tank’s body.
