In this tutorial, we will start with a blank piece of paper and learn how to create a nutcracker drawing in a series of steps. It makes sense to pay attention to the proportions of each part of the nutcracker.

Draw The Basic Shapes
We will compose our nutcracker drawing with basic shapes first. For the body, we draw squares and rectangles. Check out how I’ve drawn these rectangular body parts.

Add The Arms
Following the first step, we draw the arms and feet with basic shapes as well.

Then, we will add vertical and horizontal lines in the body for details.

Draw The Nutcracker’s Buttons
We will add buttons on the body of the nutcracker.

We will complete the nutcracker drawing by drawing the face and hair.
