Rabbit Drawing for Kids

In today’s tutorial, we are going to learn how to draw a rabbit drawing for kids on paper. The size of each of the drawn parts will be observed in each step of the tutorial. Take notice that the blue lines have been drawn to indicate the new components being drawn in each step.

Time Needed: 30 minutes

1. Draw The Face

   

   Draw two ovals to form the eyes. Next, create a small triangular shape for the nose. Then, attach two lines curving upward to form the mouth.

2. Form The Head

   

   Form the outline of the bunny’s head. Next, draw a line from the bunny’s cheeks connected to the nose.

3. Attach The Ears

   

   Draw two elongated curved lines to form the outline of the ears. Next, draw two smaller elongated curved lines to form the inner part of the ears.

4. Draw The Body

   

   To form the body, draw the shape as shown in the illustration.

5. Add The Legs

   

   First, start forming the hind leg by drawing a semicircle and adding the rabbit’s paw at the bottom. Next, add the rabbit’s foreleg by drawing two curved lines, then attaching the paw.

6. Draw The Opposite Set Of Legs

   

   Draw the opposite set of legs by forming part of the foreleg and the hind leg similar to the previous step.

7. Form The Fur

   

   Form the fur by drawing a bumpy shape attached to the head. For the underbelly, draw a line connecting the two legs.

8. Outline The Bunny Tail

   

   Draw the rabbit’s tail by drawing a fluffy rounded shape as shown.

9. Complete The Rabbit Drawing

   

   Let’s complete the rabbit drawing by first coloring the ears and nose with a pink crayon. Next, shade the eyes with a black crayon and use a white crayon to add some sparkle to its eyes. Now, use a white crayon to color the bottom part of the rabbit’s head along with the fluffy fur and underbelly. Finally, use a purple crayon to shade the rest of the rabbit’s body.
