Time Needed: 30 minutes
Start Outlining A Tree
Let’s start by drawing an outline of a tall leafless tree similar to the illustration.
Add Snow To Its Branches
Add snow on the top part of the tree’s branches. Erase parts of the branch that overlap with the snow.
Draw More Trees In The Middle Ground
Now, draw two more trees in the middle ground. Don’t forget to add snow on the branches!
Form The Snowy Ground
Next, draw wavy curved lines below the trees. Then, add long wavy horizontal lines in front and behind the trees.
Draw Trees In The Background
Draw thinner trees with snow on its branches in the background.
Add More Trees
Now, add thinner and shorter trees in the background.
Draw A Twig
Let’s add a thin twig in the foreground.
Form A Snowy Rock
Outline an oval-shaped rock then add snow on top by drawing a wavy line.
Complete The Snowy Forest Drawing
Let’s complete our drawing of a snowy forest by adding some color! First, use a white crayon to color the snow on top of the rock and branches as well as the snowy ground. Add some shadows on the ground using a light blue crayon. Now, use a gray crayon to color the rock. Next, use a dark brown crayon to color the twig and the trees in the middle ground. Then, use gray and dark blue to color the trees in the background. Finally, use a vibrant blue crayon to shade the sky.
