Materials

In this lesson, we will discover how to draw a tomato drawing for kids on paper. To look the best, we will consider the different sizes and shapes of each part of the tomato. The lines in each illustration is drawn blue so you can see the current lines that you should be working on.
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Draw The First Tomato
Create an oval shaped tomato with curved lines at the top on the left side of the paper.

Outline The Second Tomato
Add a similar shape on the right side of your drawing.

Draw Tomato Seeds
Since this tomato is going to be sliced in half, we will draw the seeds and details similar to the example drawing here.

Add A Stem To The First Tomato
Then, draw the stem with leaves at the top of the first tomato.

Draw Another Tomato Stem
Create a similar stem for the remaining tomato.

Color Your Drawing
Grab your coloring tools and begin shading your tomato drawing. Tomatoes are known for being mostly red, but they also can be found as yellow, orange and of course green tomatoes as well!
