Ugly Christmas Sweater Drawing

In this tutorial, we will figure out how to draw an ugly Christmas sweater drawing on paper. To make sure it looks great, we will notice the various sizes and shapes of each part of the ugly Christmas sweater. 1. Outline The Body

   

   Outline the ugly sweater’s body using a rounded rectangular shape.

2. Draw The Neckband

   

   Draw curved shape at the top of the rectangle to form the neck band. Draw straight lines within the neckband to add detailed stitching.

3. Attach The Sleeves

   

   Attach columnar shapes on both sides of the body to draw the sleeves.

4. Form The Cuffs

   

   Form the rectangular outline of the cuffs attached to the sleeves. Then, drawAdd a zigzag line on the cuff to add detail.

5. Draw The Garland Design

   

   Draw wavy lines across the sweater to add its garland design.

6. Hang Christmas Ornaments

   

   Let’s make the sweater even more perfect for the holidays by hanging rounded Christmas ornaments on the garland design.

7. Form The Christmas Light Wires

   

   Form more wavy lines wrapped around the garland to create the wires of the Christmas lights.

8. Draw The Christmas Light Bulbs

   

   Draw small oval shapes attached to the wire to form the light bulbs.

9. Complete The Ugly Sweater Drawing

   

   Let’s complete our ugly sweater drawing by giving it some festive colors! First, use a yellow crayon to fill in the garland. Next, use a red crayon to color the Christmas ornaments. Then, use a blue crayon to shade the neckband, cuffs, and light bulbs. Finally, complete the illustration by using a dark green crayon to fill in the inner part of the neckband and a green crayon to color the rest of the sweater.
