In this article, we will start off with a new piece of paper and learn how to draw a birthday present in no time. It is best to observe the proportions of each part of the birthday present.

Draw The Lid Of The Box

Start by drawing a thin rectangular shape to form the lid of the birthday present.

Form The Body Of The Gift Box

Draw a slightly taller rectangular shape below the lid to create the body of the gift box.

Add A Tied Ribbon

Now, add a tied ribbon on top of the lid as shown in the illustration.

Attach The Ends Of The Ribbon

Complete the ribbon by attaching the loose ends to the bottom of the ribbon.

Now Wrap The Gift Box

Outline the ribbon as it wraps around the side of the gift box.

Then Wrap The Other Side

Draw the strip of ribbon wrapping the other side of the box.

Attach The Gift Tag

Make your present more personal by drawing a curved line for the string of the gift tag. Then, outline the shape of the tag itself.

Decorate The Gift Box

Add a pattern by drawing circles on the body of the gift box. Get creative and make it uniquely yours!

Complete The Birthday Present Drawing

Time to bring your drawing to life! Use a lively color like purple to fill in the ribbon. Brighten up the gift tag with a yellow shade. Then, use a combination of blue and orange crayons to color the gift box.
