We will complete a drawing of birthday balloons by drawing one part at a time. This project will take 6 steps in total as we continue to create each section moving closer to the finished drawing. The final artwork will be finalized with color resulting in a drawing you will want to celebrate!

Outline The Shape Of The Balloon
Start by creating an oval to form the shape of a balloon. Then, draw the small tied part attached at the bottom of the balloon.

Add More Balloons
Let’s add more oval balloons. You can also draw star-shaped balloons for some variety. Don’t forget to draw the tied part at the base of each balloon.

Add Patterns And Texts
Draw wavy lines on the balloons to add some fun patterns. Then, write “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” on some of the other balloons to add some variation.

Draw A Ribbon
Now, form a ribbon which will serve as our guide on where to draw the strings of the balloons.

Outline The Balloon Strings
Connect each balloon to the ribbon with a line to form the strings.

Complete The Birthday Balloons Drawing
Time to make your birthday balloons pop with color! Use vibrant colors like pink, red, yellow, purple and blue to fill in the balloons. Then, color the ribbon with a red crayon.
