My favorite and what I believe is the best easel for kids is the KidKraft Wooden Storage Easel. It is well made and provides the most generous amount of storage space. This included lidded paint bucket containers and removable plastic bins. The plastic bins make cleanup easier. The kidKraft easel is also quite large so your child will get many years of use out of it. The only downside of this easel is the fact that it is non-magnetic.
