Beach House Drawing (easy)

In this step by step lesson, we will figure out how to create a beach house drawing easy on paper. To look the best, we will notice the different sizes and shapes of each part of the beach house. The new lines in each illustration is color-coded blue so you can see the most recent components that you will be working on.

Time Needed: 30 minutes

1. Draw A Shrub

   

   Draw a shrub by forming a bumpy rounded shape.

2. Add A Tree

   

   Now, let’s add a tree by first drawing curved lines branching out from a single point. Next, form the leaves by drawing zigzag lines. Then, create two long, diagonal lines to draw the trunk of the tree. Finally, add lines curving upward to draw the texture on the trunk.

3. Draw The Roof

   

   Draw the roof by creating the shape similar to the illustration.

4. Form The Walls

   

   To form the walls, we’ll add three vertical lines connecting to the roof and two horizontal lines attached to the bottom to form the base of the beach house. Next, we’ll create the legs of the beach house by drawing small, vertical, rectangular boxes.

5. Add A Window And A Door

   

   For the door, let’s draw a vertical rectangle with a small circle for the door knob. Next, we’ll make a window by drawing a horizontal rectangle with curved sides as shown and then adding an L-shaped line to complete the window.

6. Add More Shrubs

   

   Add more shrubs behind the beach house by forming a bumpy shape.

7. Add The Clouds

   

   Draw the clouds by making bumpy elongated shapes.

8. Draw The Shore

   

   To draw the shore near the beach house, we’ll first start by drawing a long horizontal line in the background for the horizon. When creating the shoreline, we’ll be making curvy zigzag lines. We can add dots along the zigzag lines to add a sandy texture to the beach.

9. Complete The Beach House Drawing

   

   Let’s finish the beach house drawing by coloring the walls with a yellow crayon and the roof with a blue crayon. For the window, door and legs of the beach house, use an orange crayon. Don’t forget to color the door knob with yellow and the inside of the window with purple. Next, we’ll color the bushes and leaves with a green crayon, and the trunk of the tree with a brown crayon. Let’s then color the sand with a lighter shade of brown. When coloring the sea, use a blue crayon and the sky with a lighter shade of blue. Lastly, let’s shade the clouds with a white crayon.
