In this how-to article, we will start off with a new piece of paper and discover how to draw a birthday dog drawing in a series of steps. We will pay attention to the proportions of each part of the birthday dog.

Start by forming the shape of the dog’s head similar to the illustration.

Attach the ears on both sides of the head.

Draw two ovals for the eyes. Next, add a triangle nose with a smile made of two curved lines. Then, show his excitement with a happy tongue.

Create a cone-shaped birthday hat. Now, add little circles to draw the pattern of the hat. Then, draw a fluffy circle on top of the hat.

Add The Bow

Draw a big bow shape as shown.

Form The Body And Tail

Draw two curved lines to form the shape of the dog’s body. Then, add a fluffy, curving tail attached to the end of his body.

Attach The Legs

Attach the dog’s legs to his body similar to the illustration.

First, outline the shape of the bone. Then, add the ribbon tied around it.

Complete The Birthday Dog Drawing

Make your birthday dog drawing come to life with colors! First, color the birthday hat with blue and orange crayons. Next, shade the bow with a yellow crayon. Now, fill in the eyes with a black crayon, the nose with a dark brown crayon, and the tongue with a red crayon. Then, use shades of brown to color the dog’s fur. Finally, use a white crayon for the bow, and a red crayon for his ribbon.
