In this tutorial, we will learn how to make a cat toy drawing on paper. To make sure it looks great, we will proportion out the different sizes and shapes of each part of the cat toy. The drawn lines in each step is color-coded blue so you can observe the most recent parts that you will be drawing.

Draw The Cat’s Head
Start off the cat’s head with a slightly circular shape. The cat is going to be crouched down, so it should be in the middle of the page.

Add The Ears
Draw the ears on top of the head.

Draw The Face
Give the cat a cute face.

Draw The Front Legs
The legs should be stretched forwards since the cat is in a crouching position.

Finish The Body
Draw the back and the leg that is visible in this pose.

Add The Tail
Give the cat a curled tail.

Start The Toy
Draw the base shape of the toy that this cat is going to catch.

Add Detail To The Toy
Make the toy into a little mouse that the cat would enjoy playing with.

Color It In
Color the cat in and give the toy some bright colors.
