Materials

- Drawing Paper
- Crayons or Colored Pencils

In this post, we will figure out how to create an easy circus drawing on paper. To look the best, we will consider the different sizes and shapes of each part of the circus buildings and participants. The lines in each illustration is drawn in blue so you can observe the most recent elements that you should be working on.

Draw A Ball
First, draw a circle with two curved lines.

Form A Seal
Form the outline of a seal with the tip of its nose touching the ball similar to the illustration. Next, add a shaded circle to form its eye.

Attach The Flipper
Attach the seal’s flipper by drawing a curved line. Make sure to erase parts of the seal’s body that overlap with the flipper.

Add A Circus Stand
Form the cylindrical shape of the circus stand below the seal. Then, add a series of V-shaped lines on the stand.

Draw Bunting
Start by drawing long curved lines. Then, attach a series of V-shaped lines to form the bunting.

Form The Circus Tent
Form the outline of the circus tent beside the seal.

Outline The Tent Roof
Draw a curved line to outline the roof of the circus tent.

Add The Tent’s Pattern
Add the striped pattern of the circus tent by drawing lines similar to the illustration. Then, form the opening of the tent’s entryway as shown.

Complete The Easy Drawing Of A Circus
Let’s add some color to our easy drawing of a circus! First, color the circus tent with red and white crayons. Now, shade the seal with a gray crayon. Next, fill the ball and circus stand with blue and yellow crayons. Use white crayon to color the top part of the circus stand. Then, color the bunting with vibrant crayons and the string with a white crayon.
