Time Needed: 20 minutes
Form The Head
First, outline the furry shape of the civet’s head. Next, draw two shaded circles for its eyes. Next, draw an oval with a rounded triangle inside to form its nose.
Add The Ears
Draw two pointed shapes with a diagonal line on top of the civet’s head to form its ears.
Draw The Body And Tail
Draw an elongated oval to form the civet’s body. Next, attach a thin curvy shape to draw its tail.
Add The Legs
Add the shape of the civet’s legs attached to the bottom of its body as shown.
Form The Fur Pattern
Let’s first draw the fur pattern around the civet’s eyes. Next, draw a line curving upwards on top of each leg. Now, create a long curved line on the top side of its tail. Then, create long pointed shapes along its body and on the underside of its tail as shown.
Complete The Civet Drawing
Let’s add some color to complete our drawing of the civet! First, use a cream colored crayon to shade the inner parts of its ears, its snout, and its underbelly. Next, color its nose, legs and the fur pattern on its face, body and tail with a dark brown crayon. Then, shade the rest of the civet with a dark yellow crayon.
