In this lesson, we will start with a new piece of paper and discover how to make a cute birthday cake drawing in no time. It makes sense to pay attention to the proportions of each part of the cute birthday cake.

First Draw The Icing

Start by drawing an oval with a wavy line to form the icing.

Now Form The Top Layer

Now, form the cake’s top layer by drawing a cylindrical outline with two wavy lines.

Add The Base Layer

Add the base layer of the cake by first drawing the icing. Next, form a cylinder outline with two wavy lines similar to the previous step. Then, add the oval-shaped cake plate beneath the cake.

Attach Candles

Attach three upright birthday candles on top of the icing. Then, outline the shape of the flames on top of each candle.

Add Sprinkles

Add some sprinkles on the icing by drawing small circles and rectangles.

Complete The Cute Birthday Cake Drawing

Make your cute birthday cake even more adorable by adding some color! First, use orange, blue, and red to shade the birthday candles, and use yellow to color the flames. Next, use shades of brown to color the icing and cake layers. Now, use a blue crayon to fill in the cake plate. Then, use vibrant colors to shade the sprinkles.
