Dinosaur Fossil Drawing (easy)

In this lesson, we will discover how to create an easy dinosaur fossil drawing on paper. To make sure it looks great, we will consider the different sizes and shapes of each part of the dinosaur fossil. The lines in each illustration is drawn in blue so you can see the most recent elements that you should be drawing.

Time Needed: 30 minutes

1. Draw The Skull

   

   Outline the shape of the dinosaur’s skull and mandible.

2. Add The Sockets And Teeth

   

   Now, add sockets to the skull by drawing rounded shapes. Draw a series of small triangular shapes to form the teeth.

3. Form The Arm Bones

   

   Form the dinosaur’s arm bones by drawing four rectangular shapes with curves at the end similar to the illustration.

4. Add The Ribs

   

   Add the ribs by drawing a series of narrow pointed shapes.

5. Add The Leg Bones

   

   Add the leg fossils by drawing three rectangular shapes with bumps at the end.

6. Form The Hip Bone

   

   Form the hip bone by drawing the shape as shown.

7. Attach The Hands And Feet

   

   Attach the hands and feet by drawing triangular shapes. Add three small V-shaped lines connected to the hands and feet.

8. Outline The Spine

   

   Outline the shape of the spine by drawing a series of small squares.
