In today’s guided lesson, we will learn how to draw a duck drawing for kids on paper. The size of each of the drawn parts will be highlighted in each step of the tutorial. Note that the blue lines have been drawn to show the newest lines being drawn in each in each of the steps.
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Outline The Head
Outline the shape of the duck’s head as shown. Next, draw the duck’s eye by creating a circle.

Add The Bill
Add the shape of the duck’s bill attached to its head. Draw its nostril by creating a small oval.

Form The Body
Form the fluffy rounded shape of the duck’s body.

Add The Wing
To form the duck’s wing, draw a bumpy oval shape on the center of its body

Draw The Webbed Feet
Draw the thin shape of the duck’s webbed feet attached to the bottom of its body.

Complete The Duck Drawing
Let’s add some color to our drawing of a duck. First, use an orange crayon to color the duck’s bill and flipper-like feet. Then, use a yellow crayon to shade the rest of the duck’s body.
