Outline the shape of the dunkleosteus’ head similar to the illustration.

Form The Bony Plates
Form the bony plates on the fish’s head by drawing two curved lines as shown.

Draw The Facial Features
Start by drawing a small circle for its eye. Next, add a small dot for its nostril. Then, draw V-shaped lines to form its sharp teeth.

Outline The Body
Outline the dunkleosteus’ body by drawing an elongated shape attached to its head.

Attach The Fins
Now, draw two curved triangular shapes near the bottom of its body. Next, draw a curved V-shaped line attached to the top part of its body. Then, form the tail fin by drawing the shape attached to the end of its body as shown.

Complete The Dunkleosteus Drawing
Finally, let’s give life to our drawing of the armored prehistoric fish by adding some color! First, fill in its eye with a black crayon. Next, shade its sharp teeth using a white crayon. Now, color its fins with a dark blue crayon. Then, color the dunkleosteus’ body with a blue crayon.
